Making 'home' home-y

Just wanted to do a quick post about making your summer housing feel like home.

#1 Make paper pennant banners for your space. I put these in my kids' room. Adds a little color and interest to an otherwise bland wall. Gives you a little project for the day... if you're looking for a creative outlet or something to fill your hours. You can also involve kids in the process.

#2 Build a fort. I draped blankets on both sides and threw the portable DVD player in there. They loved their own private movie theatre! I loved the two hours to myself!
